Zoë was the loving inspiration for Teckelklub, and she inspired many smiles with her heartfelt warmth and energy during her good lifetime. Zoë was born a miniature red Dachshund, known affectionately as a Teckel. At 10 lbs she thought she was, and acted, much larger in real life than she was in size. In the spirit of the Dachshund breed, Zoë was playful with a fierce determination to chase anything smaller (or larger) than her, and to spend hours digging rocks on our Vancouver beaches. Everyone could hear Zoë coming with her strong-headed bark. She was an intelligent dog, particularly gifted with loving devotion. She passed quietly in her sleep at too young an age. She will be fondly missed but will keep a place in our memories. In memoriam, until we meet again...
